In 2008 VANIMA made five animated movies. Beside the movie «The Magic Chimney» ,made with «SUNCE» Varazdin, within VANIMA`S yearly groups children made movies «Beijong 2008. (Find the Intruder)», (Un)happy Birthday To You!», «I Love Enternet» and «Fish Me if You Can». Those animated movies were selected in the official competitions of many festivals around the world. Some of them are: Videotivoli (Finland), Video Festival Imepria (Italy), Athens Animfest (Greece), Revija Amaterskog Filma – RAF 8. (Zagreb), Dan Hrvatske Animacije (Zagreb)... The movies are also going to be send on the 47th  Croatian Film and Video Festival for Children which will be held in Koprivnica.

Even though VANIMA had already worked together with Music School Varazdin, in 2009 that cooperation was continued. All VANIMA`S production in 2009 will have music made by the students of class of composition professor Davor Bobić. With this cooperation we encourage children and young people to work together on cultural projects and at the same time to combine original music with animated movies.
